The first step for radio to get better at social media is to realize who’s signing up with you.
They’re your biggest, biggest fans.
Sure, there’s some others, but for someone to go search you out in social media and sign up for your updates, tweets, or whatever … they’re fans who are personally invested in your brand. Either that, or they work for the competition.
- Your heavy listeners are your P-1’s.
- Your heavy listeners who go to your website are your P-1 Primes.
- Your heavy listeners who go to your website and then find you on Facebook or YouTube are your P-1 Double Primes.
Generally, they’re looking for extra access to the brand, extra information on special things you’re doing, extra ways to win contests. They’re waiting to be delighted.
