Mobile Food for Thought

Since getting a new smartphone last year, most of my going-online happens on my phone instead of on a computer.

It really gives you a different view of the web. In my case, it’s made me much pickier about what sites I go to, because you can’t scan a lot of content at once.

I notice that, on Facebook, it’s really made me intolerant of brands I follow that aren’t regularly engaging. Several lines of text on your computer turn into scrolling, scrolling, scrolling on your phone. Do that enough with content that’s not special or compelling to me, and it leads to getting hidden.

It’s really easy to hide those that bore you. And if you get hidden, you’ll never know.

Your fans are getting more mobile all the time. It’s the way of the world.  So keep it short and compelling, huh?
