What I’d like to know is … what sort of coverage did NBC 10 Philadelphia decide to cut to start offering this special info on (and about) Foursquare? Yeah, over time, they’ll come up with a very cool map of past coverage. I’m not sure how that makes them a better news station on their key parameters that viewers and web visitors are looking for. We all know that money is scarce in newsrooms, and that they probably didn’t create any new positions to make this happen!

More Foursquare news … The White House signed up as a location on Foursquare, and got a lot of attention from folks who are on that social/geographical service. If anything, this shows the continuing power of a really good idea.
