Lots of media managers of different types are deep into planning for 2012 budgets.

When you are thinking about your digital tools … don’t just plan bigger or more complicated or showier stuff.  Make plans to use them to help reach your goals.

What goals do you have in 2012?  More listeners/viewers/customers/readers?  More who come back more often?  More revenue?  More focus on marketing messages?  More efficient, productive use of your people?

There’s all sorts of things you can do with your digital tools to help make that happen.  Let’s start using them to reach your ’12 goals.  That means talking them up NOW … and how you’ll use them differently.  That might take some internal marketing or refocusing.

If you get started now, you’ll be on track to really kick it in when January gets here!
