KISS SOPA GOODBYE

Earlier this week, many websites went dark for a day in protest of SOPA and PIPA.  Now, these proposed bills have been withdrawn from Congress’s consideration.  Good news.

THREE STAGES OF SOCIAL

They’re growth … engagement … and monetization.  The meaning of monetization, for media brands, can be widened to mean not only earning a buck, but also improving your brand’s numbers in ways that you’re being judged … viewers, listeners, time spent with your product.  If you’ve been reading this blog, you know this is where I think the future of broadcast media lies.

Frankly, most media brands are struggling to get from growth to engagement.
